Digital Painting & 3D Modeling Competition

Announcing the first Event of SIDM Club 08...

SIDM Club has organized a Digital Painting & 3D Modeling Competition.This competition serves as a platform for those who wants to showcase their artistic talents.

There are a total of 2 Categories for this competition.

1. Character Digital Painting
Reference from internet, books, posters, any visual materials.
Submit in A4 size, 72dpi and 300dpi and any visual references in CD-ROM.

2. 3D modeling & Texturing
Reference from internet, books, postcards, any visual materials.
Sketches of front & side profile.
Submit both low and high polygon in either 3dsMax or Maya file with texture, any visual references, including front and side profile sketches, in CD-ROM.
Render the character with different poses.

All participants are to register with SIDM Club via email before submitting their entry.Simply fill in the registration form and email back to us @ nyp.sidm@gmail.com.

Registration closes on the 21 November 2008 (EXTENDED).

So HURRY and register your submission as soon as possible.
Submission instructions will be given upon registration.

EXTENDED Submission Deadline: 21 November 2008. (You may submit earlier if you choose to do so.)
Note:Each Participant is only allowed to submit one entry for each category.
